Each covering around 100,000 km year, the trailers work delivering into Fogarty customers’ DCs in the Midlands and Scotland and back loading raw materials to its site in Boston. Fogarty also operates a twice weekly service into Northern Ireland then reloading in Southern Ireland with polyester fibre used to make its duvets.“We started using Dennison from other haulier’s recommendations and then found the staff very helpful to deal with; nothing has been too much trouble.” says Fogarty’s Paul Painton.“We also bought a sliding skeletal trailer recently and have another one on order.” 

The curtainside trailers are standard and we specified the height of 4.5m to give us an internal loading height of 3m. We have operated higher trailers before but found the extra height internally not usable and the running height proved difficult on the road, especially in Ireland.”Overall the trailers are well built and really good quality and the curtains, which were designed with our product range printed on, came out really well. “The trailers are performing well, they were put straight to work and we have had absolutely no problems to date.”
