Dennison Trailers are proud to announce the building of a new factory at its Caton Road site in Lancaster, England. Work on the new factory which began in January of this year is expected to be due for completion at the end of July, with construction being handled by Hargreaves Contracting Ltd. According to Dennison representatives, the new Lancaster factory will increase productivity in trailer manufacturing while allowing its Dennison Fast Parts business – a division that sells trailer parts to the after-market. Hargreaves Contracting’s Commercial Director, Mr Gerry Sweeney explained  “The building we’re constructing for Dennison Trailers in Lancaster is to be used as an assembly plant for lorry trailers, and contains eight assembly bays together with a new parts department for Dennison Fast Parts.” He added “There will also be extensive external storage areas for trailers. The project, from a technical perspective, has required significant expenditure to remediate a demolition site previously occupied by Accordis buildings situated on Caton Road.” Boasting over 50 years and 45,000 trailers to its credit, Dennison has long been recognised as one of the major players in commercial trailer manufacturing, offering a broad range of market-leading, highly innovative and superbly engineered products. Still family-owned and operated, the company’s success is seen as a result of a fusion of innovation, engineering excellence and an unwavering commitment to customer service. “From the outset, our emphasis has always been on producing quality products,” concludes Dennison Trailers’ Managing Director James Dennison. “With the announcement of our new facility in Lancaster, our UK operations are going to be taken to a whole new level in terms or engineering and manufacturing excellence – enabling us as a business to continue to meet and exceed the needs of the most demanding operators in the years to come.”
